This amazing horse drawn carriage complete with coachmen was viewed by me while visiting Orlando Florida's Gaylord resort Hotel and Convention Center. I had the honor of stumbling into this wonderful display totally unplanned. It was a pleasure while on a small getaway just before the 2006 Christmas holidays. We were there to witness the fascinating show called ICE. 60,000 Ice Sculptors and artisans were brought into Florida from all of the World to put together this spectacular array of blocks of ice both clear and colored, lights and a whole lot of cold to keep it for weeks all just to bring to one place and one place only what has been deservingly called the "The Florida Fridge".

Don't forget to bundle up as it is a chilling 9 degrees below in there, jackets given out just before entrance and tissues given at the exit. Yes you end up needing one of them LOL. Our stay in the resort included unlimited trips inside this place but we "Floridians" had more than enough eye candy and freezing smoke blowing cold the first time through.

Here is just one of the images I took while inside "The Florida Fridge". It is the Nativity Scene and is just amazing. You can read from the sign that was displayed atop an ice made pedestal. This was only one of many of the scenes created there however this one was left clear to show the true clarity of the water used to produce the ice that created it.
